I love to walk and am so fortunate to enjoy the countryside without the use of a car.
I have explained to you all about de-cluttering your mind and your chattels. This has given me so much clarity on life. But, like everyone else I had a day when the list was too long and I needed time to gain my physical space, feel calmer, more relaxed and get my life back in control…. so I decided to walk.
I walked for about an hour on a beautiful day. The sun was going down a bit and the shadows were lengthening, but it was still warm. I was alone with my thoughts and it was like a wonderful meditation where I focussed on my breathing and was able during this time to de-clutter the distractions that were causing the anxieties to re-gain clarity.
I was able to re-frame all my negative thoughts with simple practical actions that can create real and lasting changes if practiced regularly. My mind was calmed from time alone and the walking.
A good walk can clear your head, help you to come to grips with your “worry time”, and help you appreciate the awesomeness of life in a way that you rarely do while at home.
Let me know if this action is helpful to you and please come back with any comments.
