If you find yourself wanting to manage stress in your life, but you feel you don’t have time to learn a new technique or take on a new time-consuming challenge then we at GoldCoach Uk are here to help you!
Below are great stress relievers for busy people just like you: they are easy, quick and will fit into your busy schedule. These stress relievers will give you a great return for very little effort.
1. Breathing Exercises – I have mentioned breathing exercises many times and they are simple to learn and can be done at any time when you feel stressed or anxious. One simple exercise is to “inhale your calm” and “exhale your stress.”
2. Be Positive and train yourself to develop a positive attitude – Research has shown that positive thinkers and optimists experience better health, less stress with more energy. It does take a little practice to develop a more positive frame of mind, but the practice takes little extra time and can really change your whole experience of life and how you live it.
3. Music – Music has proven health and stress relief benefits and can easily be used in daily life to relieve stress. Busy people can turn on music during their morning routine, journey to and from work, in the gym or on a run or at any other time to relieve stress. It takes very little extra time and provides real benefits.
4. Learning to say “NO” – Most of us want to please but it is often to the detriment of our own lives. It is a skill to learn to say “no” especially if you are concerned about offending or disappointing either your boss or loved ones. Learning to say “no” is quick and simple and you can do it easily. It is much easier to please people by saying “yes” but you need to protect your own-well-being, not feel guilty and that you can’t please everyone. The answer is that you are actually saying “yes” to maintaining your sanity, to have more “me” time with the family and at work being able to devote more time to the important tasks and learning to delegate. This is a positive action and an easy tactic is to say what you can do instead of the action to which you are saying “no”.
5. Exercise – Health researchers recommend a daily dose of exercise. Optimum health and exercise can avoid conditions such as obesity. It is a great stress reliever and sometimes walking the dog or other ways of exercise can also be a type of meditation.
Endorphins are the body’s natural opiates which are designed to relieve stress and exercising releases endorphins which is a chemical in your brain and that leads to feelings of happiness.
There are so many causes of stress and so many different ways for you to relieve it. There is no “magic bullet” of stress relief and you need to find the habit that will make a significant difference to you, which maybe different to other people.
